Our 46th Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for February 18, 19, and 20, 2020 at Penn State University, University Park, PA 16802.

2:00 p.m.    Mark VanGessel, Weed Scientist “Hot Topics”

 

2:30 p.m.   Gordon Johnson and Emmalea Ernest

                   Lima bean and vegetable/small fruit research topics

8:00 a.m.    Dan Bautista, Poultry Vet and Sr. Scientist of UD Lasher Laboratory and Poultry Diagnostics.

Tours of Lasher Laboratory, Thurman Adams Research Farm, pesticide building, and

Greenhouse at Carvel Research & Education Center.

 

9:45 a.m.    Bus to Laurel Auction Block, Laurel, Delaware. Brief remarks by Rick Dickerson, President of

Laurel Auction Block

 

10:15 a.m. Bus to Perdue AgriRecycle, Seaford, Delaware

 

1:15 p.m.   Bus to Wye Mills Research Farm, Wye Mills, MD for tour by John Draper and followed by lunch.

 

4: 30 p.m.  Bus returns to Carvel Research & Education Center. (Marilyn Hastings Catering)

 

6:00 p.m.   Ed Kee, former Delaware Secretary of Agriculture.  Topic: The History and Significance of the Laurel Auction Block
